Light with a life of its own.

A single image tells part of the story. Give a star a little time, and another part appears.

Watch the edges

The Ghost Sphere draws your attention away from its dark centre and toward its living cyan rim. The Ember Veil does almost the opposite: dust softens the boundary until the outline feels uncertain.

Wait for the change

Cinder Colossus sheds material from its restless surface. Flash Pillar gathers a charge before releasing its column of light. Their longer motion studies leave room for those events to unfold.

Look into the night

Sunlight makes a world’s day side easy to read. Darkness can reveal something else. Molten patches keep a Volcanic world visible after the light falls away, while clouds move over an Earth-like surface.

Notice the quiet ones

Brightness is only one way to hold your attention. The Coal Remnant barely glows. The Iron Sphere is defined by its solid, dark silhouette and the fragments around it.

These are development visuals from Cosmic Frontiers. The game’s stars have their own invented identities and visual language.
